La Perle Verte Bargemon 1-8 p.

This beautiful Provencal house is over 200 years old and located in Bargemon. This is one of the picturesque villages, 'hanging' against the hills of the green hinterland of the Var. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour's drive away.

The house is located at the end of a dead end road at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. When you go up the driveway, you enter a green oasis of peace. It's a gradually sloping terrain of over 2 hectares with old olive trees and oaks on the various terraces. There is absolute privacy. In front of the house is a lime tree that offers the desired cooling shade in the summer. From the spacious terrace you have a wide view of the surrounding hills.

Slightly higher than the house is the spacious swimming pool (14x6 m) that has been completely renovated in the past year. The pool can be heated (extra costs). A terrace has been created around the pool on which comfortable sun loungers and parasols have been placed.

A petanque court is located on a terrace just above the pool. It is a 20-minute walk (1,3 km) to the village square of Bargemon via a small country road.

At the end of the 20th century, the original, old house was extended with a new section in an aesthetically responsible way. Over the past year, the new owners have further renovated the house (including double glazing, new kitchen) with respect for the original details.

In the original, 'old house' there is a spacious (dining) kitchen with adjoining dining room (former sheepfold). From the kitchen there is access to a small hall with an adjacent bathroom with shower and toilet. From this hall a staircase leads to the 1st floor. On the spacious landing is the 2nd bathroom with bath (shower in bath) and toilet. Furthermore, a bedroom with 2 single beds (90x200 cm) and a bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm). One floor higher is the 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds (2x80x190 cm).

Through the dining room you enter the 'new' part of the house. Here you find a cozy living room. From the living room (as well as the dining room and the kitchen) you can enter the garden through French doors.

In a corner of the living room a staircase leads to the 1st floor with another bedroom with 2 beds (90x200 cm) with bathroom (bath tub, shower in bath, toilet).

For the cool evenings in spring and autumn, there are, in addition to heating radiators, a fireplace in the dining room and a large wood stove in the living room.
